The most awaited Founder’s cum Sports Day-Prerna was celebrated on 17th November, 2023 for Grades/Stages 1-5. The event of 17th November marked the closing ceremony of our Founder’s cum Sports Day Prerna – A Spectacular event filled with excitement, camaraderie, and athletic prowess.
This event brought together the entire Suchitra community with an explosion of energy resonating across the grounds. It was not just a showcase of physical prowess; it was a jubilation of teamwork, determination, and the vibrant spirit of our school. We were honoured to have Ms. Queeni Victoriya Gandam, World Open Water
Finswimming Champion as the Chief Guest.
The festivities kicked off with a vibrant opening ceremony accompanied by the rhythmic beats of the school band. The air charged with anticipation as students, adorned in their house colours, paraded around the field
with pride, displaying unity and team spirit.
Prerna wasn’t just a showcase of athletic prowess; it celebrated inclusivity and participation. Grade/Stage I children showcased the Parachute drill. The vibrant colours and the students’ performance stole the hearts of the audience. Grade/Stage II showcased the drill as a tribute to our badminton champion, P. V. Sindhu and our cricketers. Sporting events brought a spirit of competition among the students and audience too. The spectacular show of yoga, gymnastics and karate by the students was an added highlight of the event. The event concluded with a spectacular drill by the students of Grades/Stages III-V using colourful flowers as props. The drill formation of our school logo was icing on the cake. The winners of various sporting events, who exhibited both skill and sportsmanship, were honoured with medals and certificates.
