The attribute of the month – Responsible
“With great power comes great responsibility.” – Spiderman
Cambridge learner attributes are the qualities that schools with Cambridge curriculum try to impart to the students. With the Cambridge attributes the students become confident, responsible, respectful, responsive, reflective, and innovative. At Suchitra, we decided to dedicate each month towards one attribute and this month we decided to celebrate the attribute ‘Responsible.’ To instil responsibility in our learners, the class teachers began with an activity that helped them to reflect on the meaning of responsibility. The “Responsible” badge was handed over to each learner. Learners will also have to meet the criteria for being responsible for themselves and others. Our idea behind this activity was to recognise that learners need to develop attitudes and life skills throughout their education, as well as academic skills, in order to be successful at university and in employment.
