Stage 5 learners had to write a news article after exploring its various features and structure in the previous classes. To make this simple task of writing more interesting and competitive, a group activity was conducted in the English class. Learners were divided into 6 groups and each group had to design and present a news report on the topic, “Children raise funds for a good cause.” It was overwhelming to see the excitement in them to win the competition. Each learner contributed to the best of his/her capacity to make their group’s presentation the best.
