Learners of stage 2 gave a Global Perspective presentation on the topic of ‘Why is soil important?’
During this challenge, learners developed evaluation skills by collecting soil samples and exploring the soil with their senses like feeling the texture of the soil and observing its colour. They also developed communication skills by discussing their findings in the class. Students also learnt how to create compost and learnt about its application as a part of the activity. Showcasing homemade compost was the most interesting part of the challenge.
