Cambridge International encourages the development of key learner attributes, for teachers as well, which underpins the Cambridge Approach.
• Reflective as learners, developing their ability to learn
• Innovative and equipped for new and future challenges
• Confident in working with information and ideas – their own and those of others
• Engaged intellectually and socially, ready to make a difference
• Responsible for themselves, responsive to and respectful of others
Hence Continuous Professional Development becomes quintessential. Therefore, the Cambridge teachers participated in a couple of exclusive training sessions along with the other sessions conducted for all the teachers. Learning was fun!

1 .OUR FACILITATORS – Ms. Minakshi, Ms. Bhavyashree and Ms. Nisha had attended the session – How Technology Can Transform Learning and Education by Marshall Cavendish Education on 27 May 2021. Lim Yueh Mei, an experienced educator, teacher trainer and coach in curriculum training pedagogy and assessments conducted this session with an idea to empower educators worldwide with a new possibility, keeping in mind the online scenario as the main mode of teaching at present. AI tools, introduced during the session, bring in personalised learning path, tailor made content and assignments with variance in difficulty levels based on needs of the students. This tool promises to build confident math learners by instant feedback, step by step support and timely micro-tutorials. The session intended to help educators understand how this AI tool could be incorporated as a part of an effective teaching resource. It was an enriching experience for our teachers.
2.INTEGRATED LEARNING – In order to provide meaningful, relevant experiences to learners as well as bring together concepts and skills thus increasing their critical thinking, integrated approach to learning is encouraged. Thus the focus of this session was to understand different types of Integration that can be made possible in the classroom.
3.REMOTE TEACHING AND LEARNING – How to use different digital tools to make online learning interesting, exciting and meaningful? This was the probing question that led to this session and teachers were excited to analyse and enquire further about these tools.
