Rules help to organize a class or a society. For a class/society to run smoothly rules have to be made. They set boundaries, something that is essential for children to learn. There is a need to understand what is ‘acceptable behaviour’. It is also required to consider who makes the rules. Students of Grade III participated in a poster-making activity on 15th April as part of the SA session, where they had to make their own online classroom rules. Also, they were given a brief insight into what is meant by ‘Constitution’ and about Dr. B.R Ambedkar who is known as the ‘Father of the Indian Constitution. They also got to know that the holiday they observed on 14th April was on account of Dr. B.R.Ambedkar’s birthday. Finally, students could relate that their school diary also has rules to be followed religiously.
