Stage 1 learners were thrilled to learn the Song on Sense Organs during their music class, as it was integrated with their ongoing Science topic.

I DO, I UNDERSTAND

To sensitize the taste buds and realise different tastes, a SENSORY CENTER was set up for stage 1, to explore and inquire, how we use our tongue to taste sugar, salt and lemon samples.

THE WORLD OF BOOKS

Stage 3 learners were busy exploring the difference between fiction and non-fiction. They probed into the books available at home to understand how different the books are. They will gradually learn about different authors and their styles of writing. This activity helped them understand the nuances of creative writing.

BEAT THE HEAT

Stage 4 learners were enthusiastic about the special activity topic ‘Beat the Heat’. They loved making different paper crafts and enjoyed making a meme or a short video about the papercraft they made. Summer is the time of scorching sun, burning temperatures, and occasional rains to cool the baked soil. It is that part of the year when everyone, especially children look forward to as they have their vacation. It is also very important to stay cool in the sweltering summers. Students of Stage 5 created few things like a cap,  fan, etc. which can be used during a hot day. They had absolute fun while doing this. Students also discussed the harmful effects of heat and how to beat the heat.

MY HEART BEAT

Stage 5 students conducted a scientific investigation on how and why their heartbeat rate changed after physical activity. Students were amused to hear their heartbeat. They have gained an understanding of how to check the heartbeat rate.
