Learners of Stage 5 had the opportunity to make plastic parachutes as a part of their curriculum. They are learning about various forces and how it affects us in various scenarios. All of them made their own parachutes and hung an object under it to measure the time it takes to land. They repeated the same experiment with objects of different weights and sizes.
