Makerspace is our collaborative workspace inside the school to unfold the maker mindset of creating something and exploring our own interests. Creya XEL Learning believes we “learn by doing” and thus provides its modules to engage students with the best tools, strategies and pedagogies. Through STEAM education and experiential learning, the design fosters creative thinking, critical thinking, collaboration, communication skills, digital literacy, and even life skills in students. They provide hands-on learning and boost self-confidence. Some of the skill sets learned pertain to electronics, 3D modelling, coding, IOTs, and robotics. Ms. Madhavi from Creya Learning conducted a 2-day training workshop on June 7th and 8th for ICT and MS teachers. The teachers were trained in the teaching approach and design thinking process related to the projects. Teachers had first-hand experience exploring the 3D engineering and IoT modules. They also had a brainstorming session on the capstone problems.
