A read-aloud workshop was conducted by Ms Latha for the teachers of Pre – primary, Grades I-II and Cambridge Stages 1-2 during the week 1st to 6th June, 2023. The session was extremely insightful, equipping the teachers in conducting the read-aloud classes efficiently. Teachers were facilitated with various reading strategies, thinking tools and class routines. Live demonstrations by Ms Durga and Ms Mukti helped teachers in understanding the technique of conducting a read-aloud class. Teachers were educated on selecting and identifying the purpose of a book through demonstrations by Ms. Sheryle and Ms. Prathima. The session concluded with teachers exploring the strategies, teaming up to make new lesson plans and volunteering demonstrations.
