As a part of IEYC unit of learning -Going Places, children of Jr.KG are learning about the means of transport. A planned joy ride in the school bus, within the premises was arranged by the teachers. Children enjoyed this surprise ride with their friends and teachers on the bus. Demonstration of different parts of the vehicle, safety measures to be taken; use of toolkit in times of breakdown were shown by the teachers. Children were able to relate classroom teaching to this live experience and as the ride began they started singing the rhyme “Wheels on the bus go round and round” throughout. Indeed, learning is fun-tastic.
