An engaging novel reading program was introduced for the students of Grade IV during the month of July where they got a chance to read the novel, ‘Frindle’ by Andrew Clements. It not only gave an opportunity to the students to enhance their reading skills but also developed a taste for appreciating literature. The reading sessions carried on along with interesting comprehension activities like ‘I See, Think, Wonder’, ‘Character Sketch’, ‘Flow Chart’, ‘Summarizing with transition words’ etc. which provided a great learning experience to the students.
