“Financial literacy is a vital skill required to excel in whichever field a child might want to pursue.” On 25th July, a Masterclass on Financial Literacy was conducted by Clever Harvey for the students of Grade XI. In this session, children were exposed to the fundamentals of finance, which will surely help them make better financial decisions. Ms. Tunisha Sharma, the facilitator, introduced topics like microfinance, forward contracting, stock and equity financing. Students were given sample situations to brainstorm and come up with ideas for investing. They also comprehended the relationship between risk and reward. This masterclass on financial literacy focused on valuable life skills that offer a wide range of benefits, from improved money management, investment decisions to reduced stress and increased financial independence.
