Factors using a factor tree.
The learners of Stage 6 created their own factor trees through a group activity to find the prime factors. Each group chose their own 2 or 3-digit number to find the prime factorization. The leaves represented the prime numbers. The learners put in their creativity to make beautiful factor trees. This concept helps learners to arrange items in a pattern, shop for the best price and many other benefits.
