The learners of stage 2 created a collage on the festivals of Ugadi and Eid on coloured paper on April 8 by highlighting their similarities and differences. Children used stickers to decorate one-half of the card, representing Eid, and the other half, representing Ugadi. They also stuck to motifs like crescent moons, mosques, mangoes, and flowers accordingly. Children also stuck beads to create borders and patterns and added them to the designs they created. They also wrote greetings and wishes related to Eid and Ugadi inside the card, expressing the spirit of unity and celebration. This activity not only engaged children in a creative art project but also promoted cultural awareness and appreciation. It encouraged them to celebrate diversity and recognise the common threads that bind communities together, fostering empathy and understanding from a young age.
