A detailed analysis of the ASSET performance was given to us, including section, school and national average. The importance of focusing on these skills and incorporating them in our daily teaching sessions were discussed during the session. As the pattern of assessment by CBSE is gradually changing from testing the child’s knowledge to higher-order thinking skills, it is important to introduce such question patterns as a part of our daily interaction. The purpose is to instil critical thinking among students to have a better practical approach to situations.
