Who doesn’t love playing with a catapult? Originally, catapults were designed for use during battles or war, and children used them for playing or for striking objects at a distance like a fruit on a tree. During the Special Activity class of the week, 6 – 10th December, students of Grades I to III had fun making a catapult. They enjoyed the process of making their catapult with the given materials. The kids were encouraged to think, ‘Is there any other toy they can make?’ What a fun way of involving the kids in the process of innovation and creativity.
