Financial literacy is a vital skill required to excel in whichever field a child might want to pursue.
On 31st July, a masterclass on financial literacy was conducted by Clever Harvey for the students of Grade IX. In this session, children were exposed to the fundamentals of finance, which will surely help them make better financial decisions. Ms. Tunisha Sharma, the facilitator, introduced topics like microfinance, forward contracting, and stock and equity financing.
Students were given sample situations to brainstorm and come up with ideas for investing. They also apprehended the relationship between risk and reward. This masterclass on financial literacy focused on valuable life skills that offer a range of benefits, from improved money management, and investment decisions, to reduced stress and increased financial independence.
