A workshop highlighting “Crucial years of early childhood” was conducted by the Vice Principal Ms. Trisha Chakraborty on Saturday, 27th August. The Pre-Primary parents were all ears for the teaching learning process of the young children. To bring into the swing of the session a simple energizer was done at the start also emphasizing the need of energizers with little children having a short span of attention. Parents were enlightened on the agenda ‘Why early years matter?’ and the importance of ‘Parents investment in early childhood’. ‘Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs’, importance of activity based learning, impact of read aloud, essence of inquiry based learning etc. was discussed.
