Body Image and Boundaries
Dr. Pooja Jha conducted an insightful session on Body Shaming and Boundaries for students across Grades IV to VII and Stages 4 to 7 on November 24. The session aimed to raise awareness among students about the importance of recognizing safe and unsafe touch, establishing personal boundaries, practicing good hygiene, and seeking help when needed. It also emphasized the significance of respecting one’s appearance and speaking out against any form of body shaming. During the session, students actively engaged in discussions, posing numerous questions that were thoughtfully addressed. Through interactive dialogues, the students gained valuable insights on how to advocate for themselves and others when confronted with inappropriate behaviour. The session provided a safe and open platform for discussions around these crucial topics.
