A Read Aloud Session was conducted on 23 November for the students of Grade I. Interactive read-aloud is the foundation for literacy development. It reveals the reward of reading and develops the listener’s interest in books and desire to be a reader. The reader incorporates variations in pitch, tone, pace, volume, pauses, eye contact, questions and comments to produce a fluent and enjoyable delivery. Students enjoyed the session and couldn’t stop asking for more.
