Rediscovering Heritage: Traditional Games Extravaganza
Engaging in traditional games is not just a recreational activity; it is a journey into the cultural, social, physical, and psychological dimensions of our rich heritage.
In alignment with the significance of these traditions, learners of Stages 3 and 4 delved into a captivating session of traditional games. The timeless classics, ‘The Dog and the Bone’ and ‘The Chain Game,’ took centre stage on 21st November as part of a special activity plan. Beyond the joy and excitement of gameplay, these traditional activities provided a hands-on experience, allowing learners to immerse themselves in the cultural legacy woven into these games. The session aimed not only to entertain but also to instil a sense of appreciation for the historical and cultural richness embedded in these age-old pastimes.
