On 19th April 2023, students of Grade IV attended a guest speaker session which was conducted as a part of the PBL inquiry- “How to create a system that provides safe drinking water to all at a low cost?” Our guest speaker, Dr. G R Abhijith is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad campus. He educated the students about the purification of water on a large scale. He also discussed how water can be purified through the process of aeration, sedimentation, sand filter tank, chlorination, and also by adding alum. The session was very interactive and informative. Students actively participated and got all the queries answered.
