On 15th November, the magic of storytelling unfolded in the classrooms, proving once again that storytelling is one of the most potent tools for teaching young minds. This time, the focus was on the identification and value association of numbers.
The enchanting tale of “The Friendly Farm Animals” became the medium through which children delved into the world of numbers. Each farm animal represented a different number, inviting children to count and associate the correct value. The narrative sparked excitement and curiosity as the children eagerly anticipated which animal would arrive on the farm and how many would join the lively community.
The joy of listening to the story seamlessly blended with the learning process, and the children, driven by their natural curiosity, actively participated in counting each animal. The story concluded on a happy note, leaving the children with an unconscious grasp of value association, all achieved through the sheer joy of storytelling.
