It’s just two letters, and yet saying ‘NO’ can feel really hard. For many of us, especially teenagers, saying no doesn’t just feel awkward, it is challenging and difficult. On 14th August 2023, highlighting these challenges that students face to say a ‘NO’ when it matters, Grade IX A showcased a special assembly on the topic – The Unbearable Agony of Saying NO. The skit began with a video, and proceeded with various classroom situations that lead children to use the word or not use it in the right context with a dash of humour. The students also danced to some upbeat songs and sang a melodious rendition that finally gave the message that no matter what words we use, we have to be polite and kind.
