On March 13th, teachers from Pre-Primary to Grade III had the opportunity to participate in a dynamic session led by Ms. Nisha, Ms. Prathima, and Ms. Meenakshi, focusing on the implementation of Jolly Phonics techniques. The session underscored the significance of integrating phonics into early childhood education and delved into effective methodologies for teaching children the sounds of letters, digraph blends, diphthongs, r-controlled vowels, and essential phonic rules. Throughout the session, emphasis was placed on interactivity, encouraging teachers to actively engage by presenting demonstrations and sharing strategies aimed at fostering proficient reading skills among students in the classroom.
