On February 12th, Grade IV students embarked on a collaborative research endeavour centered on the theme of ‘March to Dandi’ as a part of their CCR task in English. This initiative aimed to deepen their understanding of India’s freedom struggle by examining significant movements. Each group was assigned specific topics such as the Salt Satyagraha, Swadeshi Movement, Non-Cooperation Movement, Champaran Movement and the Quit India Movement. Through this collaborative effort, students were encouraged to research collectively, fostering essential skills in teamwork and research. By delving into the intricate threads of India’s past, they not only enriched their knowledge but also developed a stronger connection with the nation’s historical narrative. This initiative not only enhanced their understanding of India’s freedom struggle but also nurtured a sense of shared purpose and achievement.
