Nutrition and Making a Healthy Lifestyle
On January 10th, students of Grade IV were treated to an insightful guest
speaker session on the topic, ‘Nutrition and Making a Healthy Lifestyle.’
This session, aligned with Inquiry 5: ‘How do we not become a couch
potato at our age?’ was led by Vullengala Srinivasa Chary, a passionate
nutritionist and dietician.
The interactive session aimed at enlightening and empowering young
minds on the significance of nutritious meals for growing bodies and
developing brains. The students gained a thorough understanding of
how each nutrient plays a crucial role in maintaining a balanced diet and
contributing to a healthier lifestyle. The session provided valuable
insights that complemented their ongoing inquiry, fostering a holistic
approach to health and well-being.
