People use measurements every day at home, at work and in school. To be accurate, we use standard units of measurement. On 10th February, students of Grade II learnt the concept of length, mass and capacity through exploration. They also learnt how to use the different forms of measurement not just for their education but for life skills like calculating their weight, buying food or purchasing fuel for their vehicle. Learning measurement is important as it develops students’ problem-solving skills and practical approaches in real-world situations.
