Grandparents are the family’s strong foundation. Through their special love and care, grandparents keep their family close to heart. To honour them Pre-primary students celebrated Grandparents Day on Saturday, 30th October 2021. Pre-primary Head, Ms. Usha Gupta and Co-ordinator Ms. Sheryle Joycee addressed the gathering and encouraged the students to put up scintillating performances for their grandparents. Various activities and games were organised where children along with their grandparents enjoyed and had lots of fun running, dancing and creating paper costumes and accessories. The icing on the cake was the handprint of the grandparent and the grandchild which was given as a takeaway. The photobooth was a favourite where they were able to capture the beautiful moments to cherish lifelong.
The cards made by the children to show they care and love their grandparents were gifted and that was appreciated. The success of the event was evident through the joyful smiles and teary eyes of the grandparents as they were overwhelmed to see their grandchildren performing for them as an expression of their love, respect and gratitude.
