“Makerspaces are where ideas take shape, creativity meets tools, and innovation knows no bounds.”
The Suchitra Innovation Centre was inaugurated with immense pride and enthusiasm by Shri D. Bala Venkatesh Varma, in the esteemed presence of Shri Krishnam Raju, Chairman, Mr. Praveen Raju, Founder, Principal and Ms. Trisha Chakraborty, Director Academics on 16th November,2024. This cutting-edge facility represents a significant step forward in fostering creativity, technological innovation, and hands-on learning for students.
The centre is equipped with advanced tools such as CNC Mill Wood Cutters, which enable precise machining and crafting of wood and other materials, and 3D Printers and Scanners, which empower students to bring their digital designs to life by creating tangible models with unparalleled accuracy.
Additionally, the lab features a Robotics and IoT (Internet of Things) section, offering students the opportunity to design, build, and program robots, as well as explore smart devices and systems that interact seamlessly with the digital world. These tools are complemented by a variety of supplementary equipment to support electronics prototyping, coding, and automation projects. The centre not only serves as a hub for technical learning but also encourages students to think critically and innovate boldly. During the inauguration, students presented a variety of innovative projects, showcasing their skills and the immense potential of the facility. Some of the projects that were presented during inauguration : Robo soccer , Remote Sensor using IOTs , 4 Wheel Drive , Hydro Hawk(Drone)Heavy Escalate ,Automated Mobile crane ,VOLT E ,Smart Street Sweeper ,Hyacinth Harvest, Lumin Eye , SEGAD ,Contact less Piano , Humanoid Robot.
As one student wisely articulated, “Innovation is a continuous journey, where every discovery paves the way for new inventions yet to be explored. With each step forward, we unlock endless possibilities, inspiring the next generation of creators and thinkers to imagine what lies ahead”.
