Effective management of water resources for agricultural practices is the need of the hour. The drip irrigation technique is one such method for productive sustainable agriculture. In view of water as an essential resource for agricultural practices, the students devised a highly useful and practically proven efficient method of irrigation system-drip irrigation. The students of Grade IX demonstrated the drip irrigation system with the help of readily available materials. They assembled the materials and effectively demonstrated the drip irrigation technique. This activity not only touched upon the application of theoretical knowledge and organization skills of the students but also stressed the importance of effective use of water resources.
