Stories based on history have always captured the imagination of children from times immemorial. ‘The Stilton Family’ took the Stage 3 students to the Renaissance Era. During their preparation time, learners were curious to dig deep into what this era meant. They understood that this era meant rebirth and this was the period in history which marked the transition from the middle ages to modernity. Their understanding of the people of the renaissance era, their attire, their occupation, their artistic capabilities, the buildings and their architecture, etc. made them think about our history and its existence. Learners became confident in working with different ideas. Working in a group helped them become responsible and engaged learners. They were reflective and well-equipped to face the challenges during the preparation time.
