Field trips are educational opportunities for children to learn outside the classroom environment. Students of Grades IV and V went on a field trip to Deccan Trails on 27-28th December and 24-25th January, respectively. This retreat not only provided leisure but also engaged the children in adventure activities like burma bridge, mountain climbing, and zipline. The students were also educated about the importance of nature and eco-friendly ways of living. Students were exposed to a variety of opportunities to have close contact with nature. Students and teachers took part in recreational activities including an exciting jungle trek. They enjoyed the day overlooking the scenic ambience and sipping tea/ welcome drinks along with lunch and snacks. Nature workshops designed in a natural setting helped children synthesize fun-filled learning into an exciting experience that contributes to their overall development.
