When we communicate, we build a connection, we understand each other, we learn to empathise. This was the takeaway of the students of Grade IV from the QCT session on ‘Listening’. At the beginning of the session students were made to play an instruction game where they heard oral directions from the teacher and drew in their notebook. After that a short snippet was shown from the movie ‘Inside out’ to introduce the importance of listening to each other. Towards the end, students reflected on their own experiences while listening in class or to their parents.
