Stage 1 learners explored the concept of Pictograms by a hands-on activity. They were given a topic – “What is your favourite colour?” They shared their answers by picking their most favourite colour and the information was recorded on the Jam board. Later on children made a pictogram to represent the data. With this activity they understood that pictograms help in representing the data in an easy and interesting way.
