Stage 1 learners were introduced to the lesson – Parts of a body with an interactive song about body parts (such as ‘Heads, shoulders, knees and toes’) and a game of Simon says with a focus on the whole body and the names of different parts of the body to consider the similarities and differences between their own body and those of their peers. The learners then modelled their thought process by exploring and recognizing, ‘ How are you similar or different to the person next to you?’
