POEM TELLS A STORY
Anticipation of rhyming words lays the foundations for making predictions in reading. The ability to recognise and produce rhyming words is a vital skill in the development of phonological awareness. On 19th September, students of Grade ll created their own story poems using rhyming words using the think, pair and share strategy. Children were really excited to find out different rhyming words and shared them with their friends.
