On 14th June a session on Research Methodology was conducted for the teachers of classes VIII to XII. The idea behind the session was to equip teachers with the basic research methods that need to be used when a student undertakes any research project. Discussions on how to frame a good research question, writing a synopsis, use of different sources both primary and secondary and to cite different sources as part of the bibliography was done. An interactive discussion was initiated on how to make students think originally and come up with research work that has depth and is authentic. The workshop proved to be enriching for the teachers with simple takeaways in the form of concrete research steps and gathering an understanding to implement them efficiently.
