Reading aloud to children is an essential component of language development and is one of the most important activities for preparing them to succeed as readers. On 15th March, 2023 a session was conducted for the newly inducted facilitators empowering them to conduct Read Aloud sessions in their classrooms for the upcoming academic session. The process flow and the rationale of the programme was started by Ms. Latha, Coordinator-English Language Development, followed by a demonstration of the Read Aloud routine by Ms. Durga and Ms. Chandana Priya. The session set the stage for a context for teachers to model fluent reading and allowed a sneak peek at how readers think in the process of reading by participating in the hands-on experience activity using some simple read-aloud strategies conducted during the workshop.

Ms. Kamlesh, Head Primary and Ms. Sujana, HOD CBSE and Cambridge, conducted an interactive session for the new teachers on 15th March, 2023. The session focussed on the process flow of communication that is followed in Suchitra. The emphasis was on using a professional approach in communication, both written and verbal. Along with this the teachers were also briefed on the dress code to be followed in a professional setup.
