Sing Smart: Unlocking the Magic of Solfa Notation
On July 27th, students from Stage 1 to 8 , embarked on a musical journey with solfa notation. This method uses syllables like “do” and “re” to teach pitch and sight-singing. Starting with simple tunes and hand gestures, students progressed to reading, writing, and singing more challenging music. Fun exercises like scale practice made learning enjoyable. This approach not only improved students’ musical knowledge and pitch skills but also deepened their love for music and boosted their confidence.
