Deviating from the set ways of learning Math, the students of Grade X took up a project to create and present models on the topic ‘Quadratic Equations and their applications in daily life. The students, executing their brilliant ideas, came up with wonderful work with the help of working models and took the whole presentation, with great clarity and enthusiasm, to the next level.
The students then derived the equation from the models, explained it to all and made this topic into something that they will surely remember for a lifetime. This activity has strengthened our faith in the words famously told by Aristotle, “For the things we have to learn before we can do them, we learn by doing them.”
