Our country is known for its rich culture and heritage. Exploring our culture, Grade VI students learnt about various folk-art forms of our country. One of their lessons, “Woman painters of Mithila”, was all about a small town in Nepal where the collector accidentally encounters a hidden treasure (art forms) during his rounds after an earthquake, which enamoured and enchanted the world famously called the Madhubani Paintings. Taking the learning to the next level, a workshop on Warli art was organized. The students were euphoric and created beautiful paintings joyfully. Students then penned down their experiences in the form of a diary entry.
