On 13th November, our curious Grade V students delved into the fascinating world of friction through an interactive experiment. Using a toy car and materials such as mud, smooth powder, and sandpaper, they observed how far the car traveled on various surfaces. The activity revealed that rough surfaces like mud generated more friction, while smoother ones like powder offered less resistance. This engaging experience provided valuable insights into how friction influences movement in everyday life, sparking curiosity and deeper understanding among the students.
