We at Suchitra Academy have always believed in the importance of the role of parents in the teaching-learning process. Keeping this in mind, Disha-The Parent Orientation was conducted for the parents of Pre-primary and Grades I-III. Our Director Academics, Ms.Trisha Chakraborty enlightened the gathering by taking them through the vision, mission, and philosophy of the school. She also introduced team Suchitra who have been relentlessly working to create a dynamic learning environment for the students. This was followed by the presentation by Ms Kamlesh Bahukandi, Head Primary, focussing on the different programmes and initiatives that are undertaken at Suchitra both inside and outside the classroom. The aim was to allow the parents to experience and understand the world their child explores in school,the session culminated with engaging and interactive activities for the parents. Our Principal, Ms. Deepa Kapoor addressed the gathering and shared encouraging words about the role of a parent in a child’s journey. The interactive parent community added value to the objective of the gathering with their inquisitive queries and motivating comments.
