Our students from Grades 4 to 12 participated in a comprehensive cyberbullying awareness session designed to equip them with the knowledge and tools to navigate the digital world responsibly.
Younger students were introduced to foundational online safety principles. They learned the importance of safeguarding personal information, understanding the distinction between online and real-world friendships, and adhering to age-appropriate social media guidelines. Emphasizing parental involvement and open communication, the session encouraged students to seek help if they encountered any online difficulties.
For older students, the session delved deeper into the alarming issue of cyberbullying, particularly its growing prevalence in India. Students were informed about the psychological toll of cyberbullying and its legal implications under Indian law. By highlighting recent incidents and the potential consequences for perpetrators, the session aimed to deter cyberbullying and promote empathy. The session also provided an overview of IT policies for students, reinforcing the importance of responsible online behavior. Through this holistic approach, we strive to empower our students to become informed and responsible digital citizens, capable of both enjoying the benefits and mitigating the risks of the online world.
