A book is a gift you can open again and again!
A class room library provides more than just books, it provides a safe haven for all students to think, create, share, and grow. Making their own book selections encourages children to actively participate in the reading process. Stage 1 book worms were deeply engaged and engrossed in reading books that their classmates got into the classroom. The children seem to be very happy in sharing their knowledge about their favourite books, discussing the cover- page, characters and the gist of the story. A class library is truly integral to the teaching and learning processes, it develops the important habits of reading among the students. It promotes curiosity, innovation and critical thinking and is a great source of knowledge to the young minds.
