Grade VI recently embarked on an English SEA activity inspired by Lewis Carroll’s humorous poem, “Are You Old Father William?” The poem’s playful exploration of generational differences sparked lively discussions among the students. Students gained insights into common misunderstandings and stereotypes by examining the witty dialogue between a curious youth and the eccentric Father William. This activity encouraged empathy and effective communication, fostering a deeper understanding of intergenerational relationships. Through creative interpretations and engaging discussions, the class experienced a delightful blend of literature and life lessons, leaving students with a fresh perspective and a smile.
