We at Suchitra Academy have embarked on a campaign to sensitize people about the detrimental effects of plastic pollution and promote pro-environmental behaviours. As a part of this campaign, our school has initiated the SEWA project, which aligns with the objectives of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Suchitrans collected old t-shirts, which were then converted into eco-friendly bags. The culmination of the activity is to reach out to the communities outside the school and distribute these bags. By doing so, the school hopes to promote sustainable living practices and reduce the use of plastic bags in the community.
Through the SEWA project, we have learnt the importance of respecting our environment and taking responsibility for our actions. We are proud to be a part of this project and remain committed to promoting the values of respect, sustainability and social responsibility.
