On 3rd August, our school, Suchitra Academy, had the honor of hosting the AFS India Kennedy-Lugar YES Program’s Discovery Day. Ms. Roli Verma from the AFS YES Program team in New Delhi came to oversee the event. We welcomed a total of 15 enthusiastic participants from across Telangana, all eager to earn a spot in this exchange program and fulfill their dreams of studying in the USA.
The selection process included three rounds: an introductory round, a group discussion, and a personal interview. We were fortunate to have an excellent group of volunteers who not only shared their inspiring experiences as former YES Program participants but also provided reassurance and answered all the parents’ questions. They ensured the smooth running of the entire event. We wish all the aspiring candidates the very best for their future endeavors.
